If you're running your mic into your computer via the G6's mic input, you can't use direct mode (direct mode disables mic input) but you can still turn off the audio enhancements in the G6's software if you aren't a fan of them. If you plug your mic directly into your computer, you can use direct mode on the SBX G6 iirc.
